“We have found Bridge Care to be an excellent service. We are kept informed of any issues. The carers are very caring, considerate and compassionate towards my mum. Most importantly they always have a smile, and a good sense of humour which they need. Overall our experience over the last months and to date gives us as a family peace of mind that mum’s needs are cared for.” ( Feb 2025 )
“Excellent caring service. Staff so respectful and caring, and clients needs taken into account. 2-way communication with management and staff.” ( Feb 2025 )
“Excellent care by both management and carers. Extremely supportive with family. Always act swiftly and efficiently to any changes requested from family. Liaison and communication are also excellent and extremely good value for money. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you.” ( Feb 2025 )
“All staff are friendly. They are helpful and take action when necessary if Dad needs further personal care help, or if Dad needs medical intervention urgently or different medical help by contacting their managers who in turn, contact me to arrange further help if necessary.” (Feb 2025)
“The care, support and consideration given by Bridge Care Services goes beyond words. All the ‘ratings’ don’t cover their commitment to the client’s well-being. All the staff have empathy for the client. They are not just employees but loved and trusted members of our extended family. Our lives would be a lot poorer without their input.” ( Feb 2025 )
” Bridge Care Services are very good. I get some very good meals that are made for me because of my epilepsy, no frying of food because it is dangerous and two baps twice a week and I put on bacon and tomato or cold cooked meat, cheese, spring onion and chutney. Sometimes we make a big meal and I will put half into the freezer and use it when I want. Bridge Care will do other things for you such as shopping or cleaning but I do not need that at the moment with being a bit younger. The staff that come to me, come on time and very friendly and have drink of coffee or tea and a chat when we have finished the cooking and washing up. I will need help to do other things as I get older but that is for later on in life. I will have often have one staff coming to me twice a week and I decide when I want them to come and I do the shopping making sure that I have all that I want for the next visit and try to have a new meal that I have not had before.” ( Feb 2025 )
“Bridge Care are a well managed organisation with a great team of committed carers. They have provided support to Mum over the years and adapted that support as she has got older and more frail. I would highly recommend Bridge Care Services to anyone.” ( Jan 2024 )
“We receive two visits a day from the same carers, who are great. I am very happy with Mum’s care package from Bridge Care. They enable her to live independently whilst ensuring that she has a shower every day and is able to be up, dressed and having breakfast with no difficulty on her part. We know that she has her medication and will be set up for the day. Without the visits from Bridge Care, Mum could not live alone.” ( Jan 2024 )
“We have a set team of dedicated carers who have been our regular team for a number of years now, and therefore visits run smoothly and efficiently. The whole family is treated with the same level of care and respect as the client. We have always been extremely happy with the level of care we receive. Thank you.” ( Dec 2023 )
” Bridge Care has been caring for my wife for over 12 months. The staff are all caring and show the greatest respect to my wife in all aspects. They help her to retain her dignity. If care times have to be changed such as hospital appointments they will always accommodate this.” ( Dec 2023 )
” Bridge Care provide care for my son, and without their help, we would not be able to have a life away from caring. We trust them implicitly with our son’s welfare, and he is happy and comfortable with the care and respect he is shown. His carers are more like family than employees and have our utmost respect and gratitude.” ( Dec 2023 )
“The carers are lovely and they have become good friends to my mum.
The office staff are great too and are very accommodating when schedules have to change. My mum is much happier since she has Bridge Care.” ( June 2023 )
“I cannot thank Bridge Care Services enough for caring and supporting my mum over the last 3 months. I live 300 miles from my mum and they literally came to my rescue. Having made initial contact they were so kind and friendly and were quickly able to put a support package in place. They are professional, friendly and caring. My mum relies on them twice a day, not only for care but for social interaction. I don’t know what we would have done without them.” ( April 2023 )
“I contacted Bridge Care Services for help with my elderly mother. As I was the only local member of her family I was becoming overwhelmed trying to run her life as well as my own.
Bridge Care did an initial assessment and advised on an appropriate package to suit my mother’s needs which then enabled me to cope better having a professional team in place.
I am very pleased to be able to report that since Bridge Care came to our rescue in mid-January of this year Mum has improved in many ways and is doing very well considering her age and medical problems.
The care team are both professional and caring and I’m being kept up to date with any developments or needs that may arise.
I would certainly recommend Bridge Care should you require help with your relative’s needs.”(March 2022)
“We use this agency for my Mum who has dementia, they are amazing. All the Carers are super lovely and the office are very helpful and approachable. I would recommend this care agency without hesitation.” ( March 2022 )
” I can’t recommend Bridge highly enough. They’ve been caring for my Mum for 5+ years where they treat her like a friend. Mum is a very private person and hates to be a burden to anyone so it was difficult to accept any help in the beginning but after a nasty fall, she had to accept help and now couldn’t do without them. As her illness has progressed, the help has increased and after another fall on March 21, resulting in a broken sacrum (back) she needed 2 carers 4 times a day when leaving hospital. Unfortunately, Bridge didn’t have capacity at the time so we had to switch providers and then we discovered the difference in care that we didn’t think was possible. The Bridge team rallied together to offer to cover Mum’s double up so we could switch back asap and what a relief! The care is now provided in my home so I see the empathy, love, laughter, dignity and dedication that every one of them provides. To anyone looking for carers, Bridge should be at the top of their list.” ( Sep 2021 )
“I’ve found the whole team to be very helpful and approachable, I was worried how my husband would adjust to having people coming in to care for him but it’s worked out very well. I didn’t realise how tired I was until they came to help.” ( Sep 2021 )
“Bridge Care having been coming to me for 15 years plus, I’m extremely happy with the carers and office staff, they are not just carers to me they’re my friends. They enable me to socialise, do my shopping and they’ve kept me going throughout the pandemic, they help me with paperwork, all appointments I need to attend, I suffer sight loss and I feel extremely safe with the carers, they know my routine, I’m very grateful to all at Bridge Care” ( Oct 2021 )
